The Bailiff's Cottage, a charming Cotswold stone barn, is the perfect holiday home for you. Located just a short stroll from the heart of Tetbury, this cosy cottage is also surrounded by breathtaking countryside, offering picturesque walks right at your doorstep.

The bright and airy open-plan cottage is well- appointed throughout. The cottage sleeps 4 people comfortably in a twin double bedroom (sleeps 2), bedroom with bunk beds (sleeps 2) and an en-suite bathroom, with a family shower room as well. All accommodation is on the ground floor. There is a smart TV and WiFi. Underfloor heating keeps the cottage warm and cosy in winter whilst in summer the thick stone walls keep it cool and fresh. Outside there is a patio and generous parking and views over the owners' paddock.

Things to Do

Step out the door for stunning countryside walks.
A variety of excellent pubs and restaurants are within walking distance in the town. The high street is renowned for the famous Highgrove Shop and its numerous antique shops and but also boasts a selection of other fine shops, including a clothes shops, a pet shop, a top-notch butcher, bakeries, wine merchants , a local convenience store, a pharmacy and a traditional market on Saturdays and Wednesdays. A small supermarket with electric car charging is also close by.
Westonbirt Arboretum and the Highgrove Estate are less than 3 miles away. The historic Abbey town of Malmesbury is just 5 miles away. We have many picturesque villages nearby and are in easy reach of both Badminton and Gatcombe horse trials, Beaufort and Cirencester Polo Clubs and Bath and Bristol can be reached within a 40-minute drive.

The surrounding area is very popular with cyclists, with many routes starting from or stopping in Tetbury. We also have a very busy calendar of events at The Goods Shed Arts Centre - including live music, theatre, comedy, art exhibitions - which is only a few minutes' walk away. 

Getting Here

Tetbury is a roughly a 20 minute drive from the M4 and M5 motorways. The local train station at Kemble (15 min drive) offers direct trains into London Paddington and Cheltenham and Gloucester.  There are local taxi companies that can be booked in advance.
